Psychologists and psychiatrists should not be expected to participate in torture as they do not have the expertise to assess individual pain or the long-term effects of interrogation, according to leading psychiatrists.
Up to 2,000 users asked to rate quality of mental health services

Up to 2,000 mental health service users and their families are to be asked to rate the services they use in the community. A questionnaire has been sent out to the members of the National Service Users Executive, asking them to gauge the rate of progress, if any, in mental heath services in recent years, and what they want to see implemented in future.
Mayo Mental Health Services to host International Mental Health leaders

In May. Ireland will become the focus for members of the International Initiative for Mental Health Leadership (IIMHL). Mental Health leaders from throughout the world will be coming to various parts of Ireland to visit services, exchange information and develop networks. Following this, the visitors will go on to the organisation meeting and conference in the INEC in Killarney.
