"Depression and anxiety are serious mental health conditions and without treatment may assume a chronic course," Dr Tara W. Strine who led the study said.
AWARE taking the initiative on depression

"The trigger for the Beyond the Blues programme came from the work we were already doing," says Fran Gleeson of AWARE. "We found there was a huge demand from workplace profes- sionals who needed information to help them deal with depression among colleagues and employees. Also families in need of help and support trying to cope with a relative who has depression".
